Document Binding

Binding documents is the process of assembling printed paper sheets into a stack and joining them together with adhesive. Most Bound documents consists of a front cover, back cover and inside pages.

Our Document Binding

We use a thermal binder machine which fuses documents and a thermal cover booklet together with an adhesive to create a book.

The binding of documents is used for a wide variety of applications (i.e. scholarly legal or otherwise.)

We currently provide Labour Appeal Bindings. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that all documents required for appeal purposes are included in the bindings. Clean legible original copies where possible are always used. We ensure that all the proper guidelines are followed to have all information displayed correctly, cross reference for documents, and index and pagination are done to Labour Court Specifications.

Our Document Binding Process

Instruction

Once leave to appeal has been granted and the notice of appeal has been filed, we collect the court file from Labour Court to prepare a quotation.

Quote

The files are checked to establish any missing documents and a quote is provided based on volume of work, we offer two different timelines to accommodate your filing needs.

Scan

The documents are scanned at a high resolution and realigned. We then review the scanned digital documents.

Draft Index

A detailed draft index and Cover Page is created and is prepared for the client’s approval.

Clean

Scanned documents are cleaned and enhanced for legibility. Cleanup involves removal of Highlighting, handwriting, lines, and dirty marks.

Check

The record is placed into volumes with headers, line numbers, and cross-references. The document is checked for errors.

Print

The record is printed professionally and bound into thermal books. The approved cover is printed on the front of the book with the volume details and court case number.

Collection

The appeal record is ready for collection. An additional PDF copy can also be emailed or saved onto a USB.
